Royal Blood stars and real-life married couple Megan Young and Mikael Daez took a temporary break from their showbiz life as they travel to New York together.
Megan, along with beauty queen Venus Raj and Sparkle actor Xian Lim, represented Filipinos at the Philippine Independence Day Parade held in New York City. The Miss World 2013 wore a bespoke Filipiniana dress from fashion designer Cherry Samuya Veric.
Megan's striking dress also came in a bright yellow shade that pays homage to the famous New York yellow taxi which is a true icon.
When she's not strutting the streets of New York, she's spotted hanging out with her husband Mikael Daez who happily accompanied her during her trip.
On her Instagram page, she shared her appreciation for her husband and said, “All we had was 1 hour. We rushed to the coffee shop which opened at 8am. It was only three stops away but Fofo somehow convinced me to grab some coffee so that I could relax before the busy day ahead.”
“I don't know how he thought rushing would be relaxing - but he was right. The moment I took a sip, I forgot about the jetlag and immediately melted into my seat and fell in love with my cup of coffee,” she further narrates.
In the photos, Mikael and Megan were spotted walking the streets of New York while sipping on some coffee. Megan also shared a few snaps of the coffee place.
By the end of the caption, she thanked Mikael and said, “Thank you @mikaeldaez for accompanying me on this trip and helping me out with the little things 😍☕️✨ I had so much fun shopping and exploring with you hehe #kiligme.”
Mikael and Megan are starring in GMA Network's newest murder mystery drama Royal Blood alongside actors Dingdong Dantes, Tirso Cruz III, Rhian Ramos, Dion Ignacio, Lianne Valentin, Rabiya Mateo, Benjie Paras, Arthur Solinap, Carmen Soriano, Ces Quesada, Sienna Stevens, and James Grahams.
