Aside from passing over the crown to her successor, Megan Young will also be hosting the Miss World coronation night this weekend.

She will be hosting the coronation night alongside Welsh actor and television presenter Tim Vincent, and Mr. World 21014 Frankie Cena. The coronation night which will be held in ExCel London Exhibition and Convention Center, will be aired on GMA this Monday, December 15 at 9:30 a.m.

“I am so excited to be co-hosting Miss World. I love hosting, it is truly one of my biggest passions and to be able to host such an iconic event in front of billions of viewers worldwide only a year after I was crowned is such an honour,” Megan said on the Miss World site’.

Filipinos all over the world are anticipating the special day as Miss World Philippines 2014 Valerie Weigmann vies to win the crown a year after Megan did.

Last year, Megan made history as she was crowned as the first Filipina Miss World.
