Sasabak sa online gaming tournament si Miss World 2013 at avid gamer Megan Young at makikipagtunggali sa drag queen na Red Fernandez, sa Biyernes, June 19.

Hindi pa man sigurado ang pagkapanalo ay win-win situation na agad ito para sa aktres dahil sa naturang tournament ay magagawa niyang pagsabayin ang kanyang passion for gaming at pagpapalaganap ng kanyang equality at HIV awareness advocacy.

Lahat kasi ng malilikom na pondo mula rito ay ido-donate sa Love Yourself Foundation para makabili ng HIV testing kits at gamot para sa mga taong living with HIV na mas lalong at risk ang kalagayan ngayong may pandemic.

Sa eksklusibong panayam ni Nelson Canlas para 24 Oras, ibinahagi ni Megan ang magiging takbo ng kanilang game.

“Si Red ang makakasama ko. I'll be up against Red. Red is a high rank player in the game that we're going to play and ako, chill gamer.

“My only tip that I can give you is to enjoy and parang ano lang 'to, larong magkakaibigan lang,” aniya.

Megan Young copes with stress through gaming

Inamin naman ni Megan na may tyansa rin na maging mainit ang laban lalo na at rank game ang kanilang pagtutunggalian ni Red.

“I guess when you're in game, talagang the emotions are high.

"Talagang iniisp mo, my game is at risk here especially kung rank battle ito dahil ayaw mong bumaba ang rank mo,” aniya.

Sa kabilang banda, ipinahayag naman ni Red ang kahalagahan na matulungan at masuportahan ang HIV patients na vulnerable lalo na ngayong may kumakalat na virus sa bansa.

“Dahil ng tayo puwedeng lumabas to go to our community centers para makapagpa-test, very relevant pa rin siya sa time ng COVID-19.

“Dahil 'yung mga client natin, sila ay mga immuno-compromised. All the more na mas kailangan ng support and mas ituloy pa po 'yung service natin despite the pandemic,” aniya.
