Besides their rekindled romance, their love for each other intensified especially now that they are blessed with a child.
Despite the controversies, it looks like the couple is happier than ever in each other's arms.
Proof of this are their recent photos on Instagram which appeared to be taken on a beach trip.
In one photo, Meryll shows her matching tattoos with Joem.
The two got inked with a pair of emojis on their arms.
Meryll has a crumpled mouth and cockeyed face and upside-down smiley face tattoos, while Joem has a man and a girl emoji tattoos.
In a separate post, Meryll shared her pregnancy journey with Joem by posting a series of photos showing her growing belly, calling themselves "Mum" and "Dud."
On New Year's Day 2021, Meryll revealed that she has given birth to her baby--a son--with Joem. They welcomed their child on December 17, 2020.

This is the actress' second child. She gave birth to her first child, Elijah, with whom she shared with her ex-husband Bernard Palanca, in August 2007.
Meryll and Joem first became a couple in 2008, when they worked together for a series. They broke up after more than a year.
It was first reported last January 2020 that the couple got back together when the latter spent New Year with Meryll's family.
