On December 28, fresh off his hosting duties at the MMFF Gabi ng Parangal, Michael shared a sentimental Instagram post reflecting on his milestone at the 51st edition of one of the Philippine's prestigious film festivals.

Serving as the official host of the festival, Michael took on the task of hosting all eight premiere nights for the competing entries, culminating in his standout performance at the Gabi ng Parangal.

In the emotional post, Michael revealed that he had prayed specifically to be part of the MMFF earlier this year.

Reflecting on the experience, he also described the opportunity as a true “answered prayer,” expressing deep gratitude for the milestone.

“Earlier this year I prayed to be a part of the MMFF. God gave me more than I prayed for,” Michael wrote in the caption.

“Super grateful to have hosted the premiere nights for all 8 films and Gabi ng Parangal!” he added.

Beyond his personal milestone, Michael also encouraged fans to head to the theaters. He included an enthusiastic rally for the Philippine film industry: "Sugod na po tayo sa mga sinehan, at suportahan ang pelikulang pilipino!"

Closing out his heartfelt message, he gave himself a new nickname: “This has been Michael Sager, your MMFF all-access guy!”

Michael is also already looking ahead, teasing his return for the next cycle with a confident: "See you next year.”
