Michael V. is regarded as one of the most awarded creative personalities in Philippine show business today. But the multi-talented Kapuso artist admits that he still feels the pressure of doing comedy, even if it has long been his expertise.

In a chat with Unang Hirit after his contract renewal with GMA Network last Monday, August 18, the actor-director confessed that he knows there will come a time when someone will be better than him in the comedy world.

“I do feel pressured, palagi there's always this. Hindi ko alam, I would say fear in a way na parang there will be one day na meron lalabas na mas magaling.” Michael told in an interview for "Unang Balita."

He continued, “Mas nakakatawa, mas creative. Pero 'yung fear na yun it's what drives me into doing things na hindi ko pa nagagawa. Kasi, palagi ako on my toes, e, when it comes to comedy tsaka, creativity. Palaging kailangan alam ko 'yung nangyayari ngayon.”

Meanwhile, Michael V. wants the big Bubble Gang concert in October to feature many of the well-loved sketches of the long-running gag show, but done with exciting twists.

The Kapuso ace comedian shared to GMANetwork.com, “Ito kasi, gusto natin mabigay sa audience lahat ng mga nagustuhan nila. So, most of the segment, most of the sketches, most of the 'yung regular segments and characters na ginagawa namin sa Bubble Gang, gusto natin ibalik at lagyan ng twist. So with that, gusto rin natin, siyempre, ibigay 'yung mga artista, celebrities or mga guests na gusto ng mga audience for the show.”

Aside from Bubble Gang, Michael V. is the lead star of the award-winning sitcom Pepito Manaloto along with Manilyn Reynes, Jake Vargas, Angel Satsumi, Mosang, Janna Dominguez, Arthur Solinap, Ronnie Henares, Nova Villa and many more.
