Michael V on his selfie with Gary V: 'Always a pleasure bumping into half of your screen name.'
Michael V never fails to brighten up his followers' day because of his Instagram captions that bring a barrel of laughs.
In his Instagram post today, June 16, the Kapuso comedian shared his selfie with Mr. Pure Energy Gary Valenciano after bumping into him in what looks like an airplane.
Bitoy amused his followers, calling them “Mga Anak Ni Voltes” in the caption.
"Always a pleasure bumping into half of your screen name," he added.
This is in reference to a satirical fan-made poster of Voltes V: Legacy which has been circulating online. It shows Pinoy artists with a 'V' on their screen names as the lead stars of the program based on the Japanese anime, Voltes V, such as Gary V as Steve Armstrong, Gardo Versoza as Mark Gordon, Michael V as Big Bert, Christian Vasquez as Little Jon, and Vilma "Ate V" Santos as Jamie Robinson.
Christian is actually part of the cast of Voltes V: Legacy where he plays Emperor Zambojil, the main antagonist in the series. Meanwhile, Michael V just recently joined the action-packed drama as the voice behind the octopus robot, Octo-1.
Voltes V: Legacy airs weeknights, 8:00 p.m., on GMA Telebabad, GTV, I Heart Movies, Pinoy Hits, and online via Kapuso Stream.
