We are just a few days away from witnessing the much-awaited "hearing" on Bubble Gang!

And many netizens are already looking forward to seeing multi-awarded comedian Michael V. bring to life the character of Ciala Dismaya.

With the ongoing Senate and House of Representative investigations about several flood control projects by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), many people found it amusing that one of the central figures of the controversy, Cezarah “Sarah” Discaya, has some uncanny resemblance with the Bubble Gang comedian.

In an exclusive interview with GMA News Online, Direk Bitoy said that he also noticed that they have some facial similarities, too.

“Actually una kong napansin kaagad 'yan sa Senate hearing. Ako mismo napansin ko na. Parang kamukha ko siya. Parang konting effort na lang magagaya ko na siya,” the Kapuso comedy star said. “Hindi ko muna inisip na gayahin right away. Pero dahil sa dami ng messages na nagpa-flood sa feed ko, binato ko na agad sa creative team ng Bubble Gang. And they had the same idea rin pala.”

Michael V. and the whole Bubble Gang team were simply surprised with the engagements they have been receiving online since they dropped the teaser of Ciala Dismaya last September 8.

“Nagulat ako dahil nakatalikod pa lang, 'di pa nga nila nakikita 'yung mukha, na-excite na agad 'yung mga tao. Abangan ninyo this Sunday, mas lalo kayong matutuwa sa inihanda namin”

Meanwhile, in another interview with Super Radyo DZBB, Sarah Discaya's lawyer, Atty. Cornelio Samaniego III stated that his client is not offended by Bitoy's impersonation of his client.

“Pero wala siyang violent reaction [or] whatever, wala. Nire-respeto natin si Michael V., idol natin 'yan sa Bubble Gang. Trabaho niya 'yan, parang ako abogado, trabaho ko 'to, di ba?” Atty. Samaniego reiterated.
