Bubble Gang pioneer and multi-awarded comedian Michael V., together with creative director Caesar Cosme, attended YouTube's 'Unstoppable' 2026 trade event where they discussed the key ingredients why Bubble Gang is 'unstoppable' in the comedy and pop culture scene in the Philippines.

Talking about their three-decade reign on television, Michael V. said on 24 Oras, “Thirty one years is no joke, pun intended [laughs]. Pero talagang 'yung mga tao behind kasi [ng show] na parang na ano na nila, nakuha na nila 'yung tamang formula, tamang flavor. So, it will take another generation para matutunan 'yun.”

During the Q&A portion, Direk Michael explained to the audience why the content they showcased in the comedy show should be 'relatable.'

In a report by GMA News Online, Bitoy pointed out, “Kailangan grounded ka kasi. Kami sa Bubble Gang, we have to make sure na nakaka-relate 'yung audience namin sa mga ginagawa naming material. And research lagi, kailangan nakikita mo 'yung totoong buhay, kung ano'ng nangyayari sa paligid mo.”

Direk Cosme seconded saying, “Ako lagi, the road less travelled. Mahirap gawin iyon, pero gagawin ko. Kahit hindi maintindihan ng viewer ang production value, nararamdaman nila ang effort at care na inilagay sa paggawa.”

Bubble Gang is gearing up for their summer special and in 2026, the iconic gag show promises to deliver more laughs and good vibes.

It has been confirmed that Miss Earth Philippines and viral sensation Joy Barcoma, Sparkle hunk Bruce Roeland, Christine Samson, and Angelica Hart will be part of the summer special.
