'Pepito Manaloto' is celebrating 14 years since it was launched back in 2010.
It has been 14 years since much-loved weekend sitcom Pepito Manaloto was released.
It has gone through various iterations since its launch back in 2010.
Orginally called Pepito Manaloto, it tells the story of a man who suddenly comes into wealth as he unexpectedly wins the lottery.
It has taken various subtitles like "Ang Tunay na Kuwento," "Kuwento Kuwento,' and "Ang Unang Kuwento" to indicate changes in storylines and stages in the life of the main character Pepito and his family.
The current iteration is "Tuloy ang Kuwento" where we see Pepito and his family enjoying a life full of wealth but still sticking to their values.
Kapuso comedy genius Michael V, who is the brain behind the long-running sitcom as well as the star who plays the titular Pepito, looked back on the launch of the show.
"ANNIVERSARY MONTH nga pala ng Pepito Manaloto ngayong March! Nakaka-14 YEARS na pala tayo since March 13!" he wrote on Instagram.
He also shared a photo of some materials which he had kept since the show began.
"I'm posting these throwback Press Kit Invitations nu'ng nag-launch kami nu'ng 2010," his caption read.
Bitoy also invited fans of the show to rewatch the past seasons and episodes which can be streamed online.
"Kung gusto n'yong ma-relive 'yung nakaraan, watch the PILOT Episode sa YouTube channel ng @youlolgma. Enjoy!" he said.
