In a very timely vlog, Micheal V. encouraged Filiipinos to get COVID-19 shot by narrating his own experience when he survived from the highly infectious disease.

Knowing that there are a lot of people who are still on the fence of being inoculated, the actor-director dedicated a part of his vlog to support the vaccination drive of the government.

Bitoy is already fully vaccinated with the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine.

Michael noted, “Until now marami pa rin ang hindi naniniwala sa vaccine.

"Siyempre, iba-iba ang paniniwala ng mga tao at kailangan nating respetuhin ang mga kapwa natin.

“Pero kami kasi ng pamilya ko, alam namin na ang COVID vaccine ay hindi perpekto, pero epektibo.

"Alam namin pinag-aralan 'yan ng mga qualified na mga tao.

"When I say qualified, 'yung talagang marurunong hindi 'yung mga nakabasa lang ng kung anu-ano sa internet, nagdudunungan na.”

He stressed, “Ang World Health Organization meron global vaccine action plan. Global ha!

“Buong mundo, at ang tina-target nila mabakunahan ay more than 80 percent ng lahat ng tao sa buong mundo.

"Kaya kung hindi magpapa-vaccine, kasama ka dun sa less than 20 percent.

"Ibig sabihin wala ka sa majority, nasa minority ka.”

“And remember, walang pumipilit sa inyo na magpabakuna.

"Ang sinasabi ko lang, e, kung mahilig kayo bumiyahe, tsumika, mag-party, asahan n'yo na magkakaroon ng inconvenience in the future.”

In addition, the creative director of Pepito Manaloto also gave his opinion who are against the vaccines.

Explaining his views, Direk Bitoy said, “Actually, may nabasa pa akong comment, 'God will protect me from the virus.'

“Totoo yan! Pero kagaya dun sa sinabing napanood kong movie kapag nag-pray ka kay Lord na kailangan mo ng pera, hindi siya baba mula sa langit na may dalang wallet, 'tapos tatanungin ka, 'Ah, magkano ba kailagan mo?'”

“'Pag nag-pray ka sa Kanya to protect you from the virus, I believe that He will give you the opportunity na protektahan ang sarili mo at paano mo gagawin yan?

“'Di ba, may kasabihan din na, 'God is everywhere'?

“So, when you look around you, nandiyan na 'yung sagot.

"Everywhere you look, you will see people wearing face mask, face shield, people washing their hands and sanitizing themselves. And most of all, people who are getting and giving vaccines.

“Nandiyan na sa paligid mo 'yung ipinagdarasal mo, all you have to do is open your eyes, open your mind, and acknowledge.”
