The Commission on Election (COMELEC) will open the voter registration anew from October 11 to 30, 2021
Multi-awarded comedian and content creator Michael V. has voiced his opinion about choosing the right candidate for the upcoming 2022 Presidential elections.
In his passionate plea on Instagram, Direk Bitoy, a three-time Asian TV awardee, reminded his kababayans to register to vote and choose wisely on who will be the next leaders of our country.
He wrote in Filipino, “Sa gitna ng pandemic meron pa ring nagpa-rehistro. Hoping pa rin tayo na may isang kandidato. Na 'pag naka-puwesto e hindi mang-aabuso. Na ang uunahin e kapakanan ng tao. Wala naman akong balak makipagtalo. Iboto n'yo na lang kung sino ang gusto n'yo. 'Yung iba sa inyo nagpa-silaw na sa pera. Pero this time sana, utak at puso ang gumana.”
The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) has announced that they will reopen voter registration from October 11 to 30, after the Senate and House of Representatives fast-tracked the passage of a bill that will extend it.
Meanwhile, several celebrities also encouraged their fans to register for the elections next year including Bea Alonzo, Barbie Forteza, and Bianca Umali.
