Kapuso beauty queen Michelle Dee definitely enjoyed a proud daughter moment during the recent Binibining Pilipinas coronation night as she watched her mother, former Miss International Melanie Marquez, walk the Binibining Pilipinas stage.
In one of the more recent posts on her Instagram account, Michelle posted several photos that showed her with her mom Melanie and fellow beauty queens Pia Wurtzbach and Samantha Panlilio. In the caption to the post, Michelle said that the Binibining Pilipinas coronation night was not just “a night where legacies were celebrated but a full circle moment for a daughter who always dreamed to cheer her mom on live!”
Michelle has always been proud of her mother Michelle's beauty pageant past. During her time competing in the Miss Universe pageant last year, the emerald green and black Mark Bumgarner she wore during the preliminary competition was a tribute to her mom.
After returning to the country, Michelle was also warmly welcomed by Melanie at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport.

Melanie was part of the 100 Binibining Pilipinas winners that took part in the celebration of the Binibining Pilipinas pageant's 60 years of existence. Aside from Melanie, Miss Universe winners Gloria Diaz, Margie Mora, Pia Wurtzbach and Catriona Gray were also part of the queens celebrated on the night.
The Binibining Pilipinas coronation night saw delegates Myrna Esguerra and Jasmin Bungay win the Binibining Pilipinas International and Binibining Pilipinas Globe crowns, respectively, while Christal Jean Dela Cruz and Trisha Martinez were first runner-up and second runner-up respectively.
