Michelle Dee

Michelle Dee's participation in the Filipino Music Awards is her latest move in the local music industry.

Kapuso beauty queen Michelle Dee continues to strengthen her relationship with the local music industry as she has been named as one of the presenters at the inaugural staging of the Filipino Music Awards.

In one of the more recent posts on its official Instagram account, the Filipino Music Awards announced Michelle as one of the award show's presenters. In the caption to the post, Michelle was described as a “queen on every stage.”

Michelle joins other presenters like Razorback's Kevin Roy, Wolfgang's Basti Artadi, and Eraserhead's Ely Buendia. The Filipino Music Awards will be held in the SM Mall of Asia Arena on October 21.

This is Michelle's latest activity in the music industry. Back in July, she shared cover star duties with GMA Network's Senior Vice President Annette Gozon-Valdes and ABS-CBN Star Music's Roxy Liquigan in Billboard Philippines' digital exclusive issue (). In the caption to the post, Billboard Philippines writes that the collaboration between GMA and ABS-CBN is “a groundbreaking partnership” that is “setting the stage for the future of OPM.”

The publication also wrote that Michelle is the center and the face of the movement, “embodying the authenticity and general appeal” that the GMA and ABS-CBN partnership aims to champion.

The collaboration Billboard Philippines is talking about is Michelle Dee's song Reyna, which is the first-ever collaboration of ABS-CBN's Star Music and GMA Network's GMA Music. Star Magic has also released a special Pride Month version of the song.

Aside from deeper involvement with the local music industry, Michelle has also been establishing her name in the international fashion scene. The announcement of her participation in the Filipino Music Awards come after her time in Paris for Fashion Week.

Michelle was at the L'Oreal Paris fashion show, as well as the Lacoste Paris Fashion Week show where she was seen with It's Showtime host Anne Curtis, K-pop star Kai, and Thai celebrities Davika Hoorne.
