Michelle Dee is overwhelmed by the amount of support she is receiving as the new Miss Universe Philippines
Soon after being crowned as the new Miss Universe Philippines, Kapuso actress Michelle Dee posted a short but meaningful message on Twitter to thank her fans who supported her in the beauty pageant.
"We did it," Michelle wrote in her post, followed by "#deepatapos," indicating that her pageant journey is far from over, as she is now ready to participate in the Miss Universe.

Michelle wowed the audience and judges with her answers during the question-and-answer segment.
The question that was asked to her was, “Recently, the Department of Tourism has adopted a new branding campaign, 'We give the world our best.' For you, what is the best that we can offer to the rest of the world? Why do you consider it so?”
“I firmly believe that the best natural resource that the Philippines has is us Filipinos. We are the true heart and soul of the Philippines with the way we are hospitable, with our warm smiles... And we are the reason why the world keeps coming back for more. No matter where the universe takes me, I'll always be proud to call the Philippines my home. And no matter what happens I will always be proud to call myself Pinoy,” Michelle answered.
Michelle triumphed over 38 other candidates during the Miss Universe Philippines 2023 coronation on Saturday at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
