The competition may have been fierce between Filipino and Thai pageant fans at the height of the Miss Universe coronation night, but Miss Universe Philippines Michelle Dee and Miss Thailand Anntonia Porsild showed there's no bad blood between the two of them in a short Instagram Live held earlier today (November 22).

The short Live - which ran for barely 10 minutes - showed Michelle and Anntonia cleaning their faces in front of a mirror and answering questions that viewers left in the chat.

One of the questions asked was whether Anntonia would be visiting the Philippines anytime soon, to which Michelle replied that an invitation has been sent. Michelle also recommended Palawan to Anntonia, describing it as having the “most pristine beaches, amazing biodiversity, great for scuba diving, free diving, snorkeling”, but Anntonia had to reveal how she did not like scuba diving.

“I can swim in a pool but I'm not really into scuba diving because I'm scared of big fishes,” she shared. “I'll go into the ocean but don't let me see what's under there. Out of sight, out of mind.”

The Instagram Live was also an opportunity for Michelle to share a behind-the-scene story, such as how her mirror was stolen after the Miss Universe pageant.

“It was stolen right after coronation night so it's fine. The situation is I had to do my make-up in front of two spotlights,” she shared.

“She's so innovative and creative and super smart so she does what works for her,” Anntonia added.

Since the end of the Miss Universe pageant, where she placed in the top 10, Michelle has also achieved an Instagram follower milestone as she amassed 1 million followers). At the time of reaching that milestone, Michelle's most recent post was an edited photo of her in her Apo Whang Od-inspired evening gown, where she expressed her desire to come back home to the country as she is already homesick.
