Current reigning Miss Universe Philippines Michelle Dee went on a journey back in time during an interview at tonight's Miss Universe Philippines coronation night.
Michelle was interviewed by former Miss Universe R'Bonney Gabriel and show host Jeannie Mai. When asked about the most memorable moment from her reign, Michelle shared a moment after her time in El Salvador.
“The one thing that does stand out is when I came home from El Salvador. To be greeted with so much love, compassion, celebration, and just being in a room full of people that are proud to be Pinoy, I know I didn't bring home the fifth crown but I hope I made all of you proud and I felt that,” she shared.

Michelle also shared a piece of advice for the aspiring queens competing, saying: “Hard work, dedication, passion, and most importantly, love for your country. I know this has been a very long and tedious journey but it will all be well worth it if you trust your training and trust your core group. Destiny will have your back,”
Even before the coronation night, Michelle was nostalgic about her reign, posting a short video showing the bookends of her pageant journey.
