Miss Universe 2023 Top 10 finalist Michelle Dee expressed her gratitude to her home network GMA-7 and It's Showtime for giving her the chance to participate in the historic moment on Philippine television.
On April 6, It's Showtime aired for the first-time on GMA, which was dubbed by entertainment experts and fans as a groundbreaking moment for both GMA and ABS-CBN.
Michelle's guesting was even more special because she was accompanied by her mother, Miss International 1979 Melanie Marquez.
The Sparkle beauty queen began her Instagram post saying, “What's up #MADLANGFILIPINAS!!!!”
She continued, “Thank you so much @itsshowtimena @gmanetwork for taking me on a (HEART)felt journey and of course for having me on this historic day for the Philippine entertainment industry!! So excited for what's to come! This is definitely one for the books.”
Many fans watched Michelle pick from the three candidates in the viral segment "EXpecially For You." She eventually chose Cebu-based lawyer Oliver Moeller as her date.
