Kapuso actress Michelle Dee has a heartfelt message of gratitude for fellow beauty queen, Celeste Cortesi.
The Sparkle artist shared a photo with the Filipina-Italian beauty on Instagram and expressed her gratitude to the latter for proudly representing the Philippines in the 2022 Miss Universe pageant in New Orleans, Louisiana.
“You gave it your all and that's all that matters. We're so proud of you @celeste_cortesi! Thank you for raising our flag,” she wrote.
Before ending her post, Michelle added the Spanish phrase qué será será, which translates to “what will be, will be.”
In a separate post, the 27-year-old actress-beauty queen also showed her all-out support for Celeste prior to the competition.
Both Celeste and Michelle competed in the 2022 Miss Universe Philippines, where the former was hailed as Miss Universe Philippines 2022 while the latter was named Miss Universe Philippines Tourism.
Celeste ended her journey early in the 71st Miss Universe as she was not a part of the Top 16. Filipino-American R'Bonney Gabriel of the United States of America is the newly-crowned Miss Universe.
Meanwhile, the Miss Universe 2022 first and second runners-up are Venezuela and Dominican Republic.
