Since coming out as bisexual, Michelle Dee has been very visible in Pride Month celebrations.

Pride Month continues to be a busy time of the year for the current reigning Miss Universe Philippines Michelle Dee as she takes part in another Pride Month activity.

On her Instagram account, Michelle announced that she is part of the Pride Month special of the Miss Universe organization's #UniverseUnited YouTube show. Along with Miss Universe Bhutan 2022 Tashi Choden, Michelle says she will be representing the country and the LGBTQIA+ community and will be celebrating Pride Month on the show.

The YouTube Live will start on June 20 9:00 a.m., Eastern Standard Time, or 9 p.m. here in the country.

This is just the latest Pride Month activity that Michelle has taken part in. Earlier this month, Michelle was at the residence of the United States ambassador to take part in the embassy's Pride Month celebrations. Along with her were RuPaul's Drag Race Philippines cast members Precious Paula Nicole, Viñas Deluxe, Brigiding, Lady Morgana, and Kaladkaren.

This is now also the second Pride Month event that Michelle has attended as an out bisexual woman. Since coming out, Michelle has spoken in magazine interviews about her wish that her story be empowering to everyone and allows them to celebrate who they are “despite the pressures of our society.”

Michelle has previously supported the LGBTQIA+ community by raising funds for LGBTQIA+ organizations through the clothing brand COS. The company donated 100 percent of the profits to specific LGBTQIA+ organizations, which Michelle promoted to her followers.

Michelle is the country's second Miss Universe Philippines to come out as a member of the LGBTQIA+ community. Miss Universe Philippines 2021 Beatrice Luigi Gomez became the first openly bisexual person to win the crown, and just like Michelle she has not shied away from supporting anti-discrimination initiatives.
