According to the Miss Universe Philippines 2023, she will miss this year's event but left a promise for her Kapuso friends and supporters. Michelle also penned a hopeful message as she prepares for this year's Miss Universe pageant.
"So sad I'll be missing this year's edition but I'll come back next year with a bang and hopefully with the 5th. #deepatapos Enjoy, mga kapuso! @sparklegmaartistcenter"
Michelle's post included a photo of herself from last year's Sparkle Spell wearing a beautiful Urduja costume.
