Michelle Madrigal addressed her perspective on starting a new relationship and commitment.
Michelle discussed the relationship subject in her latest vlog after one of her followers asked if she is currently dating someone and if she is ready for commitment.
The former actress revealed in 2021 that her marriage with Troy Woolfolk didn't work out and they are going through the process of divorce. The ex-couple has a daughter named Anika.
Michelle shared in her vlog that she has gone on casual dates.
"I've gone on casual dates but I don't think I'm ready to be in another serious relationship."
She revealed that being single allows her or anyone to meet someone new. However, she decided to focus on being a single mom.
"Know that you're allowed to meet someone. Go for coffee, go on walks, or whatever; go for dinner. But honestly, where I am at, I want to focus on myself and it will be unfair."
Michelle explained that she can't fully commit herself to a new person because of her priorities.
"It would be unfair for the other person to be with me potentially. Kasi, I don't think I can commit to that with my new work schedule, me being a single mom, or co-parenting, right? It's a lot."

For Michelle, meeting a new person is a good thing but she's not ready to commit herself to anyone.
"I don't mind getting to know someone but to the extent of actually being committed, I don't think I can even do that for myself, or to hurt someone not intentionally but not to give them enough time that they need."
She added how she wanted to dedicate her time to what she wants and needs now that she's single. "Nagawa ko na yan dati na in relationships I always cater to other people. I always cater to their needs before my needs. This is a good chance for me to really focus on myself."
To end the questions about her dating life, Michelle disclosed that there is a right time for her to fall in love again.
Michelle explained, "Sa mga nagtatanong, I am not ready for a serious commitment. When the time comes, when the right timing, I am not saying the person, when the right time comes and I feel like I can give the commitment that is needed to nurture in the relationship, then I will be happy. I will accept it with open arms."
She added, "Currently, hinay hinay muna tayo."
