Michelle Madrigal discussed her advice to help newly single moms move on.
She said, “If you're a newly single mom, you're going to get through this.”
Michelle shared her advice in her birthday vlog where she gave an update about her divorce. She announced her separation from Troy Woolfolk last August 2021. They were married in April 2019.
According to Michelle, the “cliché words” that were used to tell people who are going through a painful breakup truly mean so much.

“Everything happens for a reason. All these cliché words mean a lot. You're going to get through this; you're going to pick yourself back up. Have grace.”
For Michelle, a person should give time to move on and heal from the breakup.
“Allow yourself to feel. Give it time to heal, and your healing journey, don't put a timeline that within three months I am good. I've moved on, I'm ready. Journal every single thing that you feel. Sit through your emotions 'cause I feel like a lot of people try to run away from that.”
The former actress said that you can only help yourself as you are the one going through the painful separation.
“A new relationship, your friends, your family, yes they are there to support you but they are never gonna help you fix whatever you have, whatever emotions you're feeling. You can only help yourself.”
Her advice is to give time and focus on yourself.
“Give yourself some grace, give yourself some time. Allow yourself to feel. Date yourself, be amazing, meet people, meet new friends, and change your environment. Get into fitness, get healthy, do the things that you love the most, and take care of yourself.”
