Miguel Tanfelix and Ysabel Ortega took fans on a trip to San Diego in recent vlog.

Almost seven months after their trip in San Diego, on-screen partners Miguel Tanfelix and Ysabel Ortega, collectively known as YsaGuel, shared their experiences during the trip in Miguel's latest vlog. The two Sparkle stars along with the other cast members and crew of Voltes V: Legacy attended San Diego Comic-Con last year.

The trip focused on the annual San Diego Comic-Con International held at the San Diego Convention Center, which was held from July 20 to 23, 2023. Miguel, Ysabel, co-star Gabby Eigenmann, direk Mark Reyes, and GMA executives, represented the Philippines in the convention for Voltes V: Legacy.

In the vlog, Miguel and Ysabel shared their experience including having early-access passes to the convention and enjoying the booths of Nickelodeon, E.T., Spider-Man 2, Willy Wonka, and Gundam.

On their third day, they went to the convention in full Voltes V: Legacy costumes, Miguel as Steve Armstrong and Ysabel as Jamie Robinson. The Kapuso stars said that attendees appreciated their costumes.

"Nag-stand out tayo. Nag-stand out ang gawa ng Pinoy." Ysabel said.

For Miguel and Ysabel, the highlight of their Comic-Con experience was the panel interview. The venue was packed with attendees from all over the world.

“Talagang milestone siya para sa Pilipinas na tangkilikin ng mga tao sa San Diego,” Miguel proudly said.

Moreover, Ysabel was happy that they met fans of Voltes V and also introduced the series to attendees.

“Napahanga natin sila, which is so amazing.” She said.

On their free day, Miguel and Ysabel visited Kansas City Barbeque restaurant where the 1986 action film Top Gun shot some of its scenes.

Miguel also shared a funny story when Ysabel accidentally put his camera in slow-motion mode, resulting in slow-mo videos of their trip to Legoland, the outlet store, In-n-Out Burger, and Santa Monica Pier.

To make the most of the clips, Miguel ended his vlog with a montage of their trip in different parts of San Diego with the Voltes V: Legacy team.
