Miguel Tanfelix and Ysabel Ortega

'Ba't parang prenup,' one commenter said on Miguel Tanfelix and Ysabel Ortega's performance in Kapuso Web Specials' spoken word poetry video titled 'Tayo.'

Miguel Tanfelix and Ysabel Ortega surprised their fans with a digital short film days after the finale of their primetime series What We Could Be aired on October 27.

On October 30, GMANetwork.com dropped a spoken word poetry video titled 'Tayo' under Kapuso Web Specials featuring the onscreen partners.

The video showed Miguel reading a book while contemplating his past. He appeared as a heartbroken man who questions when he can start over.

There comes Ysabel, who appears innocent about love, writing in her diary as she longs for 'the one.'

Despite their contrasting experience, Miguel and Ysabel similarly look for answers.

Towards the end of the video, Miguel and Ysabel become optimistic after finding each other as they hope for better times.

According to one viewer, the recent web project of Miguel and Ysabel, collectively known by their fans as YsaGuel, is like a pre-wedding video, a hot trend among soon-to-be married couples.

"Ba't parang PreNup GMA hehe bagay na bagay sila!!! Parang totoo 'yung mga linyahan nila na na-experience na nila sa life," a certain Beth Borrico commented on YouTube.

Many viewers, like YouTube user Ramjie Bernson, also noticed YsaGuel being a natural on camera despite not being a love team.

A part of the comment read, "They're not introduced naman as loveteam. It's just that many casual viewers saw their chemistry kahit hindi sila loveteam until nagkaroon na ng shipper and they called themselves "team coffee" coz these two are coffee lovers then hanggang sa padami nang padami ang nagiging fans nila na casual viewers which is nakakatuwa kasi sarap naman talaga i-ship at i-support these two coz you can see they are good people and not pretentious."

Overall, the spoken word video drew 'kilig' online for its concept of "acknowledging the past, taking chances, and believing that the best is yet to come."

Watch Miguel and Ysabel perform the spoken word poem "Tayo" in the video above.

After What We Could Be, Miguel and Ysabel will finally be seen in their biggest project to date, the highly-anticipated Voltes V: Legacy where they play Voltes V team's Steve Armstrong and Jamie Robinson respectively. It is set to air in 2023.
