Kapuso actress Mika Dela Cruz announced that she has reconnected with her old hobby which is creating artworks, on Monday, June 1.
Mika shared the news on her Instagram account alongside an adorable photo of herself.
She wrote, “I've always loved creating little pieces of art but since they're on paper most of the time they get lost.
“I literally got into digital just two days ago (since I got an ipad) and this is the perfect creative outlet 'cause I also get to share them with you.”
She also encouraged her fans and followers to send her some of their favorite bible verses, song lyrics, or even quotes for her to work with.
“Head on over there (@_mariquotes IG page) and send in some of your favorite bible verses, song lyrics, or even quotes you can relate to and I'll do them for you!
“I am new at this but hey, I want to enjoy this fun process of creating, learning and growing with you, hope u like it!” she added.
On the same day, Mika shared her first-ever digital artwork.
Meanwhile, the actress has been relentlessly mobilizing donation drives to aid the public, especially the most affected sectors of the society, against the health threat of 2019 coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
One of her latest relief efforts is the creation of a crowdfunding website called SHARE THE CARE (PPE for our FRONTLINERS).
Its accumulated funds were used for the procurement of masks, face shields, and personal protective suits (PPE) for frontliners.
