Mikael Daez gets real about working out and says it wasn't easy to get back on track.
In a recent Instagram reel posted on Mikael Daez's account, the Kapuso actor shared a snippet of his daily workouts with his wife Megan Young. The two can be seen tiredly sprinting outdoors yet still giving their best to get back in shape.
Mikael shares in his caption, “Just a tiny glimpse into our daily workouts for the past few weeks. We've made it a point to really start increasing the intensity of our workouts lately and doubling down on eating healthy. This meant no more unhealthy snacking, heavier lifts, and more cardio.”
Along with unveiling what consists of their journey to living healthier is Mikael admitting that the road towards it wasn't easy to take at first. He says in his caption, “BUT, what we did not expect is our old and weary bodies to hurt so much after. Our dirty thirties have become puro siesta at trenta.”

The Kapuso actor admits as he and Miss World 2013 Megan Young get to their 30s, they enjoyed sleeping and resting so much in the afternoons that it took a toll on their bodies. But even though they are experiencing this setback he says, “We are adjusting though. It'll just take us a bit longer to get to our goals I guess.”
That's not a problem at all! What's important for the married couple is that they are striving to become healthier at their own pace.
