Megan Young and Mikael Daez

The married couple will be spending time apart from each other for the longest time ever since the pandemic.

In an Instagram reel posted by Mikael Daez, the Kapuso actor shared that he and his wife Megan Young will be spending time apart from each other for a total of 50 days, the longest time they will be separated since the onset of the pandemic.

The Miss World 2013 is set to embark on a solo trip around the world and as soon as she gets home to the Philippines, her husband Mikael will have already left for Korea to shoot his show.

“Today, Boneezy LEFT ME…..to go to another country!! :p She's travelling the world and she's riding solo this time. To add some drama, by the time she comes back, I would have left already for South Korea to shoot Running Man PH. Basically, the next time you will see the duo of Bonez and Fofo together will be two months from now,” he shares.

The video shows Mikael saying goodbye to his wife Megan at the airport who joked and said, “Whatever, bye” to the Kapuso actor when he asked her if she'll be missing him. Then it transitioned to a video of a frustrated, crying Megan.

But the reel wasn't just a funny post as Mikael admits that he's on a rollercoaster of emotions with everything that is happening.

In his caption, he dissected his feelings and said, “The first is I am SUPER excited for Bonez. At the time of this writing she's reenacting The Terminal by Tom Hanks as she wanders around her stopover airport for around 15hrs. She'll also be figuring out how to do all of this on her own which means she's going to learn a lot. And of course, I think she's going to have a blast on this solo adventure.”

The Kapuso actor initially said that he is excited for his wife as she discovers and learns new things but afterward acknowledges that he has mixed feelings about their time apart. He says, “The second feeling is a bit mixed. We haven't been apart from one another since this pandemic started so to have this new status quo for the next two months is going to be interesting. But ultimately, I think we'll both learn so many more things and it'll be a nice way to reflect on the what we just went through.”

Mikael and Megan have been spending quality time with each other and their baby dog Soba, who has been a bundle of joy in their lives since the pandemic. If they aren't building keebs and taking care of Soba, the couple can be seen stanning Kpop boy group BTS.
