It was truly a memorable holiday season for the little family of Mikael Daez and Megan Young!
Proud parents Mikael Daez and Megan Young gave another glimpse of their parenting journey with their son Leon, this time sharing how much he enjoys going on outdoor walks with them.
Mikael posted on Instagram a short video of one of their family walks at the University of the Philippines, which they consider one of their favorite walking spots.
At the start of the video, Mikael said he and Megan are fighting over who holds Leon and jokingly proposed a “solution.”
“Nag-aagawan si Mama and Dada kay Leon. Ano ang kailangan? Ano ang solusyon? Isa pang baby!” Mikael said with a laugh.
The Sparkle actor said they took a lot of walks with Leon during the holidays, which their son seemed to enjoy.
“He's always super engaged when we're walking. He obviously likes the outdoors and the different smells and views that come with it. He's never fussy even when he gets a bit sweaty,” Mikael said in the video.
Mikael also shared clips of Leon singing along with him and Megan.
“Safe to say, we'll be taking him on more adventures in the future. We can't wait to see what else he'll enjoy. And we still need a solution kasi nag-aagawan pa rin kami kay Leon,” Mikael said.
In the caption of his post, Mikael said they are looking for more walking spots in Metro Manila and around the Philippines.
“Excited to take Leon on his first hike too! Pulag agad! jk…kinda,” Mikael wrote.
Megan and Mikael spent the holidays bonding with Leon. In a previous Instagram post, Mikael expressed how parenting could still get overwhelming even after months.
“It has been a mix of core memz (as my younger sibs would put it), stressful challenges, and everything in between,” the Kapuso actor said.
Mikael said he and Megan decided to go solo taking care of Leon during the holidays, which, despite the challenges, was still a “wonderful experience” since they went through it with their family.
Megan and Mikael welcomed Leon in May 2025.
