In the latest episode of Mikael Daez and Megan Young's podcast, '#BehindRelationshipGoals,' the celebrity couple shared different life hacks that make their lives just a little bit easier.
One of the things that really help them breeze through their day are their favorite mobile applications that make them more focused, and organized to do all the things they need to accomplish.
To inspire their podcast listeners to become just as or even more efficient than them, Mikael and Megan decided to share the six apps that aid them in their daily lives.
Take a look at Mikael and Megan's list of favorite useful apps below:
1. Evernote
According to Mikael, he has been an avid user of the notes organizer and daily planner app called Evernote for over half a decade now. Through Evernote, Mikael lists down all his short term and long term tasks. This is especially helpful for him because having everything he needs to do all written down relieves his mind of remembering all the important details, reducing his stress levels overall.
Megan also recommends Evernote to those who tend to be forgetful like her. And as a testament to how useful this app really is, Megan shared that she used Evernote and its multitude of features to help plan their wedding!
2. LastPass
One of Megan's latest app discoveries and current fave is the password managing app called LastPass. What LastPass does is that it stores all of the user's passwords in the app itself which makes it convenient for Megan since she has a lot of different accounts both for personal, professional, and gaming use.
LastPass also provides an extra layer of security to prevent hackers from getting into these accounts easily. That second feature has become important now more than ever as we slowly turn into a "cashless society" day by day. Through LastPass and other password management apps, we can rest easy knowing our confidential bank details are safely protected under their care.
3. Google Translate
The Google Translate app is a must for those that love to travel! It is especially useful when traveling to non-English speaking countries as a way to bridge the language barrier.
But aside from traveling (which we all know Megan and Mikael love to do), they have also discovered other ways to implement Google Translate in their daily lives. One example Megan cited was when she used the Google Translate app to cook the instant noodles she bought that had no English instructions on the packaging. Although it did provide a "broken English" translation, which is sometimes the case with Google Translate, Megan was still able to figure it out and try these noodles she has never had before.
4. Teleprompter
Mikael and Megan recommend the Teleprompter app to those in their similar line of work like celebrities, online content creators, and speakers. The app connects to their own teleprompter and it makes their jobs that much easier.
Through Teleprompter, Mikael and Megan get to deliver their spiels with ease without having to memorize lines upon lines or looking off-camera just to read their script; making for a smoother finished product that improves viewer experience.
5. AutoSleep
AutoSleep is a sleep tracking app that connects to a smartwatch to monitor the user's quality of sleep. For Megan, the kind of sleep she got for the night according to the AutoSleep app usually determines what kind of workout she'll do for the day. Having a good night's rest motivates her to push herself further while having a bad one means she'll take things easy for her body to recuperate.
Meanwhile, using the AutoSleep app has actually improved Mikael's discipline when it comes to staying in bed for too long or not having enough rest. It makes him more mindful of the time he spends sleeping, making sure he achieves the right amount of rest he needs to start his day.
6. YNAB
Last but definitely not the least is one of Mikael's favorite apps called YNAB which is actually short for "You Need A Budget." The YNAB app is a budget and expense tracker that helps users gain total control of their money.
Since Mikael is the more mathematically-inclined of the couple, he has tasked himself with handling their finances. With the help of the YNAB app, he can easily track just how much money is going in and out of their accounts and find areas in their lives where they can cut costs to save more money.
