Megan Young on Mikael Daez: 'Nag concert na lang si asawa para sa akin.'
Only a few days left until Filipino CARATs can finally reunite with their favorite K-pop group, SEVENTEEN!
This weekend, January 18 and 19, SEVENTEEN will bring their much-anticipated "Right Here" concert to the Philippine Sports Stadium in Bulacan. While many fans are excited for the two-day event, some like Kapuso star Megan Young sadly won't be able to attend. Megan, who is in her first pregnancy, needs to rest during the weekend and sees the venue so far from their home.
Feeling a bit lonely about missing the concert, Megan found comfort in her husband, Mikael Daez, who stepped up to lift her spirits. On Instagram, the couple shared a hilarious reel of Mikael trying to comfort Megan in his own unique way. Since the beauty queen couldn't attend the concert, the Kapuso actor decided to create their own “concert” at home.
From re-enacting iconic inside jokes to mimicking the memorable performances of SEVENTEEN, Mikael did everything he could to cheer up his wife. He even dressed up as one of the members, Hoshi, and danced playfully in front of Megan.
Megan happily played along with Mikael's antics, laughing non-stop at the fun experience. The Kapuso actress wrote in the caption, "Taas ang kamay ng mga Team Bahay. Dahil hindi ako makakanood ng concert ng SEVENTEEN this weekend, nag-concert nalang si asawa para sa akin. Sariling sikap hahahaha."
She added, "Looking forward to seeing everyone's clips from the concert!!! Mag-horanghae nalang kayo for me and please tag me in all your Ash videos."
Megan's followers flooded the comment section with supportive messages as fellow SEVENTEEN fans. Some even promised to send her videos from the concert, enjoying the night on her behalf. Megan happily responded, expressing her gratitude for their love and support.
Megan and Mikael tied the knot twice in January 2020--first in a beautiful ceremony in Nasugbu, Batangas, on January 10, and then again in Subic on January 25.
Fast forward to the end of 2024, and the couple shared exciting news with their fans--they're expecting a baby boy! Megan and Mikael posted a heartwarming video from their intimate gender reveal party, surrounded by close family and friends, marking yet another beautiful milestone in their journey together.
