At the GMA Artist Center Press Conference, Sana Ay Ikaw Na Nga lead actor, Mikael Daez sat down for an interview with GMANetwork.com. “It feels great. It means nagustuhan ng mga tao ‘yung show. What else can I say? ‘Yun talaga ‘yung goal namin. I’m very grateful,” said the charismatic Kapuso actor on the success of the show.
When asked about what viewers should watch out for on the final week of the series, he shared that “Maraming aabangan. Pinaghirapan namin yung finale. Pumunta pa kaming Baguio. Iyong mga eksena namin, napakalaki. We had our fight scenes, we had our love scenes, lahat ng ineexpect ninyo and more nandoon.”
Mikael also raved about the exciting ending of the series. “Lahat ng mga problema, makikita ninyo kung paano maaayos, and I promise you na may magugustuhan ninyo ang ending. Hindi mabibigo ang pagsubaybay niyo sa aming show.”
Describing the last taping day of Sana Ay Ikaw Na Nga as "bittersweet", Mikael said that he will surely miss the big scenes he had with all the members of the cast. He adds, “Yung cast namin is very tight-knit, along with the production and crew. I’m really gonna miss the people I’ve worked with.”
Miakel states that he is glad to have worked with someone as talented as Andrea Torres. “My working relationship with Andrea is very good. Okay ang rapport namin as Carlos Miguel and Cecilia. We’re very close already. We’ve become friends, and we also have a lot of friends outside me and her, so I really couldn’t ask for more.”
After Sana Ay Ikaw Na Nga, Miakel Daez looks forward to achieving more career goals. “We’ve had a successful show, happy moments, happy memories, great ratings, and possible follow-ups, so I’m very happy.” -- Text by Samantha Portillo, GMANetwork.com
