The Philippine King of Talk, Boy Abunda, is back in his first home and he already has a list of Kapuso stars he would love to have an interview with.

In a press briefing on Thursday, Boy Abunda cited the Kapuso icons that are on his list and veteran broadcaster and his close friend, Mike Enriquez, sits at the top.

"He is really high up there," he said.

Boy shared that he just had to call Mike to share the news of his homecoming after he signed the contract, "Hindi ko talaga matiis, I had to call Mike Enriquez... He's a very dear friend of mine. Hindi ko man nakikita si Mike na kasing dalas ng gusto ko pero he has been a friend, a constant friend."

He also recounted a part of their conversation. "Sinabi ko, 'Mike, andito na ko, nagbabalik,' Sabi niya sa'kin, 'Saan? Anong nagbabalik?'"

"Obviously, he was not watching television. Sabi ko, nagbabalik ako sa Channel 7 and I could not imagine not letting you know," Boy continued.

To which, according to Boy, Mike replied, "I will not have forgiven you had you not called me."

Aside from Mike, Boy said he would also love to interview Heart Evangelista, Marian Rivera, and Maine Mendoza and Arjo Atayde together.

He also mentioned Julie Anne San Jose, Barbie Forteza, Carla Abellana, Alden Richards, Tom Rodriguez, Dennis Trillo, and Paolo Contis, among others.

Boy Abunda officially signed with GMA Network on Tuesday. During the ceremony, he expressed his heartfelt gratitude and excitement for the warm welcome he received from the network.
