The 'Nagbabagang Luha' actor is staying in a storage room of their house while waiting for his RT-PCR result.

This COVID-19 pandemic, going back home from a 'work bubble' is something that gives anxiety to most people, especially working parents, thinking that they might pass a virus they could've acquired from their workplaces to their families.

That's why to some, taking a hotel quarantine and getting a COVID-19 test are the best solutions before they can actually hug and kiss their loved ones after not seeing them for a long time.

The same goes for Mike Tan.

The father of two underwent a lock-in taping for the upcoming GMA drama Nagbabagang Luha, a TV adaptation of the 1988 blockbuster movie of the same title, for more than a month, hence he can't help but feel worried for his family.

In an Instagram Story, Mike said, "I'm pretty sure I am not a carrier but for the safety of my family and kids, I did a drive-thru saliva test."

According to him, he stayed in a storage room of their house while waiting for his RT-PCR result.

But even though he's in isolation, Mike felt the love and longing of his family as he received a cute welcome back gift - a minimalist cake that has his to-do list written on it - from his kids, Tori and Prisci, and wife.

He said, "Haaay, I will never get tired of kissing the two of you, reading your books, hugging you, playing with you... And, of course, French-kissing mommy! Mahal ko kayo!"

In Nagbabagang Luha, Mike will play the role of Bien which was originally portrayed by Richard Gomez.
