After getting a new lead role, Mikee Quintos expressed her gratitude and dedicated her newest project to her longtime handler Jel Capistrano.
Kapuso actress Mikee Quintos is still ecstatic after being chosen as part of the lead stars of GMA's upcoming series 'The Write One.'
On Instagram, Mikee posted a series of photos taken from the story conference of her newest project together with her real-life partner Paul Salas and Kapuso couple Bianca Umali and Ruru Madrid.
“Been feeling so overwhelmed with this blessing. But I also haven't felt this excited with a script in a while! Can't believe I'm working with you guuuys @bianxa, @rurumadrid8, @paulandre.salas!! This is crazy!! #TheWriteOne ~ @gmanetwork's first collaboration with @viuphilippines under @gmapublicaffairs #comingsoon!” she captioned in her post.
Meanwhile, Mikee also expressed her gratitude for her longtime handler Jel Capistrano whom she considers her 'guardian angel' since she signed with GMA Network in 2015.
“Soooooo I know most of the people reading this post right now won't know what it's like to live behind the camera. I'd just like to give a huge shoutout to my guardian angel, literally, since day 1 of my showbiz career!” she wrote.
According to Mikee, Jel was the one who took care and guided her in the world of show business.
“Jel's been my handler since I signed with the network back in 2015. He taught me the basic do's and dont's in the business, took charge of my schedule and basically my whole life for the past 7 years. Sad truth though, his resignation's been effective for 3 days now. Hay,” she said.
The Sparkle star also mentioned that her newest project is dedicated to Jel and that she promised to make him proud.
“I'm truly grateful for every laughter, every celebrated win and every tear of defeat shared with you, ate jel! You helped equip me with so much confidence and love in our time together. (Umabot na nga sa buong family ko ) I know I can never repay you for passionately taking care of me all these years, but I can definitely dedicate my next project to you! So… @jetothelo, this one's for you! I'll make you proud,” she added.
