Just a few months left before Kapuso star Mikoy Morales officially ties the knot with his fiancée, Isa Garcia!

As their big day draws near, the engaged couple has started to be hands-on in planning their dream ceremony.

On social media, Mikoy recently shared updates about their preparations, which began in a rather interesting way, shortly after their engagement last year.

"So the day after the proposal, something interesting happened," Mikoy began.

The Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre actor recalled how he and Isa talked about their experiences in the proposal and the night before. During their conversation, Isa became emotional and shared her feelings about the moment.

"In-express niya sa akin lahat nung mga nararamdaman niya nu'ng moment na 'yun. Tapos ang unang pumasok sa isip ko was, 'Oo nga no? Kadalasan sa proposals walang chance mag-respond 'yung pinagproposan kasi siyempre kung sino man 'yung magpo-propose, siya 'yung nakaabang na speech,'" he shared.

"Siguro 'yun 'yung nangyari nu'n. Du'n niya nasabi lahat ng mga gusto niya sanang sabihin nu'ng moment na lumuhod ako sa kaniya. Quite interesting."

Mikoy added that Isa initially suggested they take their time and let the engagement sink in before diving into preparations.

However, things quickly took a turn the very next day.

"Nasa taping ako nu'n. Tapos 'yung phone ko notify nang notify," he recalled. " 'Yun pala nagse-send na siya ng mga link na mga gusto niyang i-check out (para sa wedding)."

The Pepito Manaloto star found it amusing that Isa had already started contacting churches and scheduling ocular visits.

"So I guess nag-sink in na pala agad sa kaniya," Mikoy continued with a laugh.

"Right there and there we got into it. The first thing that we did was ocular and book the church and the venue kahit wala pa kaming wedding coordinator."

The Kapuso star also expressed relief over their early decisions, noting that some book churches and venues up to four years in advance.

Aside from securing venues, the couple has stayed organized by creating a live master spreadsheet for their plans.

"Alam namin magbabago pa 'yun along the way. But at least meron na kaming magandang picture of everything before we proceed," Mikoy shared.

Mikoy and Isa got engaged in February 2025 after being together since 2021. The actor surprised his soon-to-be bride with a creative proposal disguised as a block screening for a fake film project.

Meanwhile, Mikoy currently stars in GMA's superserye Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre, where he plays Agnem, the last prince of the Nymfa race.
