Former Miss Universe 1999 first runner-up Miriam Quiambao is enjoying the beauty of taking care of a newborn a week after she gave birth to Ezekial Isaiah Roberto, whom they fondly call Baby Ziki.
What's amazing about this pregnancy is that Miriam gave birth at the age of 46. It can be recalled that she first gave birth to Elijah in February 2019.
In her Instagram post last July 20, the proud mom looked back at her birthing experience with Baby Ziki describing it as a “roller coaster of emotions.”
She shared, “It's been a week since I gave birth via scheduled cesarean section to my miracle baby Ezekial Isaiah “Baby Ziki” Roberto, and what a week it has been!
“It was a roller coaster of emotions as memories of my first CS came to mind. I was both excited and anxious at the same time. Some fears dared to creep at the back of my mind.
“I'm so grateful to God's never-ending grace whose presence never left my side.”
Miriam also discussed what happened in the operating room before her cesarean section.
“Listening to the “Childbirth In The Glory” album from Spotify helped me be grounded in His word and gave me the faith, the strength, and the mindset as I prayed and believed God for a supernatural birth.
“The doctors were kind enough to allow me to play the album inside the OR and whenever I felt anxious, a timely verse came out from the speakers which gave me renewed faith and strength to face the ordeal ahead.
“Barely 4 hours of intermittent sleep per night, the pain of engorgement and my C-section, adjustments in the household are just some of the challenges to contend with.”
With this new blessing, Miriam is overflowing with gratitude and thanked everyone for their support to her especially her husband Ardy.
She wrote, “I am grateful to my husband @ardyroberto for journeying with me from the beginning till the end: staying with me in the hospital, caring for me and the baby. And now our journey as new parents is just beginning again.
“Thank you to the medical team headed by OB/Gyne Extraordinaire @dr.beckysingson who made sure that I get the utmost medical care.”
Aside from Elijah and Baby Ziki, Miriam has a stepson named Joshua.
