Filipino pageant fans need to mark their calendars as another titleholder is headed to the country for an official visit.
In one of the more recent posts on its official Instagram account, the Miss Charm organization announced that its 2024 winner, Miss Charm Rashmita Rasindran, will be on an official trip to the Philippines from June 22 to June 23. The caption also stated that she will be appearing alongside Miss Charm Philippines 2025 Cyrille Payumo.
Rashmita is the winner of the Miss Charm pageant that Kayla Jean Carter competed in last year. Kayla finished in the top 20 of the pageant and was a standout in her national costume made by designer Ryan Ablaza Uson.
In an Instagram post, the designer explained that the blue in the costume reflects the oceans that connect the country to the rest of the world and makes the country the Pearl of the Orient Seas. Meanwhile, the red honors the courage and sacrifices of our ancestors. Ryan also explained that the gold color represents the resilience and strength of the Filipino people while the white color of the costume is a call to unity. Finally, the crown serves as a symbol of dignity, pride, and leadership.
Rashmita is also the latest international titleholder to visit the country. Back in April, current reigning Miss Universe Victoria Kjaer Theilvig and the current reigning Miss Universe Continental queens that include Miss Universe Asia Chelsea Manalo visited the country for the Miss Universe Philippines Charity Gala night.
The date and venue for the 2025 Miss Charm pageant has not yet been announced, although the previous pageant was held in December last year.
