As of writing, Miss Cosmo Philippines Chelsea Fernandez is currently first in the voting for the Miss Cosmo People's Choice category, after passing 1 million votes.
Miss Cosmo Philippines Chelsea Fernandez continues to achieve milestones as she competes in the Miss Cosmo pageant in Vietnam.
In one of the more recent posts on its official Instagram account, The Miss Philippines organization shared that Chelsea is the first Miss Cosmo candidate to reach the 1 million vote milestone in the ongoing Miss Cosmo People's Choice competition.
In the caption to the post, the organization called on Filipino fans and pageant aficionados to “keep the momentum going and continue voting until the end to secure the PHILIPPINES to the Top 10!”
As of writing, Chelsea is ranked first in the pageant's People's Choice category, followed by the representatives from El Salvador and Vietnam, respectively.
The Miss Cosmo pageant coronation night is set to happen on December 20, 2025, at the Creative Park in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
Chelsea's top placement and 1 million vote milestone is just one of her achievements in the Miss Cosmo pageant so far. The Miss Philippines organization also recently shared that Chelsea secured a spot in the top 17 of the Miss Cosmo National Costume Competition.
In the caption to the post, the organization said that Chelsea “delivered a remarkable performance in the Sarimanok-inspired creation by ER Stephen Alvarado, showcasing its cultural beauty with grace and impact.”
In a post on her own Instagram account, Chelsea wrote that the costume brought Filipino Muslim heritage to life “through vibrant rainbow plumage, gold accents, and intricate okir patterns.” Chelsea also wrote that the costume showcases “the Philippines' rich artistry with purpose and pride.”
Chelsea also lit up the runway during the Miss Cosmo swimsuit competition, wearing a red swimsuit and a performance that The Miss Philippines organization described as a “flawless walk, striking figure, and full confidence that had the entire room locked in”.
Chelsea is one of many Filipina beauty queens representing the country well in international pageants. Current reigning Miss Universe Philippines Ahtisa Manalo recently clinched the third runner-up position the Miss Universe pageant.
Binibining Pilipinas International Myrna Esguerra also clinched the fourth runner-up position in the Miss International pageant.
