It's been weeks since Philippine representative Alexie Brooks was named 2025 Miss Eco International and now she is receiving some love as she returns to Iloilo City.
In one of the more recent posts on her Instagram account, Alexie shared an Instagram Reel of her during the homecoming parade that the Iloilo City government prepared for her. In the caption to the post, she wrote how heartwarming it was to have Ilonggos embrace her with “so much love, joy, and pride” and that she was “endlessly grateful” for the support she has received.

Alexie's homecoming and her gratitude to her home city comes after she sent her “heartfelt” thanks to her supporters a day after her Miss Eco International win.
In her Instagram post, she wrote “Lahat kayo, buong-buo ang puso ko sa pasasalamat.”
Alexie already had a strong performance in the lead up to her win, placing in the top 10 of its resort wear competition. Alexie made that announcement in a couple of posts on her Instagram account, showing her in resort wear made by designer Maria Glenn. In the caption to one of the posts, Alexie said that she channeled her inner Victoria's Secret angel and that she was honored to place in the top 10.
A couple of days before that, Alexie was first runner-up in the Miss Eco International talent competition after singing Adele's “Set Fire to the Rain”, wearing a gown that was similar to the Grammy-winning singer's.
The country also showed its support for her though votes. During The Miss Philippines organization's first call for votes on April 14, Alexie was in first place with 29,499 votes on the provided voting website.
Alexie became the country's representative for the Miss Eco International pageant after she competed in the 2024 Miss Universe Philippines pageant where current reigning Miss Universe Asia Chelsea Manalo was named the winner. Other winners during the pageant were Miss Supranational Philippines Tarah Valencia, Miss Cosmo Philippines Ahtisa Manalo, and Miss Charm Philippines Cyrille Payumo.
