Beauty pageant aficionados are set to welcome beauty pageant royalty next week as an international titleholder is set to visit the country.
In one of the more recent posts on its official Instagram account, the Binibining Pilipinas announced that current reigning Miss Globe Chayathanus “Cheraim” Saradatta will be visiting Metro Manila from January 25 to 29. On the official Miss Globe Instagram account, the organization described the upcoming visit as a “celebration of beauty, culture, and unity”.
The Philippine representative during the Miss Globe pageant that Chayanthanus won was Annabelle McDonell, who ended up landing in the Top 11. Annabelle was named Binibining Pilipinas Globe back in June.
If Annabelle had won the Miss Globe crown, she would have been the third Filipina to do so, after Maureen Montagne won it in 2021 and Ann Colis in 2015.
Maureen won the crown back in 2021 with her response to the question “Do you think beauty is a merit and how can we enrich it with other values?" Her response was “I believe that everyone has beauty inside of them and I believe it's our duty to share it to the world and to give back and to truly inspire others.”
Maureen would go on to host the Miss Globe 2025 pageant.
