It's only been a day since Philippine representative Emma Tiglao was crowned the 2025 Miss Grand International, but the Philippine queen is making sure that her biggest fans know she's grateful for all their help.
In one of the more recent posts on her Instagram account, Emma shared multiple photos of her with her crown, trophy, and the multiple sashes and bouquets she received during the pageant. In the caption to the post, Emma made sure to thank not just the pageant organizers, but her Filipino fans as well.
She wrote, “To my beloved fellow Filipinos -- this journey became our story because of you. Your '1 million heart reacts' were more than just likes; they were symbols of bayanihan, of unity, of love that echoed across the world. You showed everyone what it truly means to stand as one nation, one heart, and one voice.”
Filipino fans certainly played a role in Emma's strong performance, with their votes propelling her to eighth place in the Miss Grand International Miss Popular vote.
The support of Filipino fans also led her to being included in the pageant's pre-arrival top 10. Her inclusion in the top 10 allowed her to join an exclusive dinner with Miss Grand International president Nawat Itsaragrisil and 2024 Miss Grand International CJ Opiaza.
CJ Opiaza was also part of the pre-arrival top 10 during her time at the pageant.
Emma ultimately clinched the Miss International crown with her response to a question about scammers.
"As someone who reports these kinds of stories, I really want to use the power of balance--us people to be educated and aware, for us to not be scammed, and the help of the government to enhance their justice system for the scammers to be behind bars, to be accountable. 'Cause one day, I hope that we will live in a peaceful world where no one should deceive just to survive," she said.
Emma's victory comes after CJ Opiaza, who was named the 2024 Miss Grand International in Bangkok earlier this year.
