Miss Grand Philippines

The Miss Grand Philippines delegates are competing to succeed the current reigning Miss Grand International, CJ Opiaza.

The battle for the crown is heating up as the Miss Grand Philippines organization has announced the date for its swimsuit competition.

In one of the more recent posts on its official Instagram account, the Miss Grand Philippines organization has set this Saturday, July 26, as the date for the pageant's swimsuit competition. The competition will be held in Alaminos, Pangasinan, and will feature “a backdrop of golden waters and storm-kissed skies”. The competition will be aired exclusively on GrandPhTV.

The announcement comes after the organization released the glamor shots of the 29 candidates on social media.

The Miss Grand Philippines organization had earlier announced that the coronation night for the pageant will be held on August 12, 2025, 7 p.m., at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay.

Aside from crowning the successor to the current reigning Miss Grand Philippines, CJ Opiaza, the coronation night will also include the awarding of three other titles: Miss Asia Pacific International Philippines, Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas, and Face of Beauty International Philippines.

The caption to the post also expressed the organization's hope to get back-to-back crowns for the Philippines. Filipina Dia Mate is the current reigning Reina Hispanoamericana.

This year's candidates are competition to succeed the current reigning Miss Grand International, CJ Opiaza, who was emotional when she was crowned in Bangkok last month.

“Before I signed up for this job, I know I was born ready, I am always ready, and now I have been given the challenge and I am taking that challenge and I am taking the responsibility to be your first runner-up and now to be your Miss Grand International 2024,” she said during the ceremony.
