The reigning Miss International Philippines certainly isn't afraid to speak up and call out what she believes to be wrong.

Winning a title at the prestigious Bb. Pilipinas 2017 surely comes with a lot of perks such as the crown, prizes, and adoring fans. One perk considered by many to be the most important of all is to be given a platform to voice out one's opinions.

Mariel de Leon who was recently named as the Miss International Philippines certainly isn't afraid to speak up and call out what she believes to be wrong.

In a recent stream of posts on the social media site, Twitter, Mariel spoke about the corruption plaguing the country.

 

 

The beauty queen received different kinds of reactions from netizens ranging from admiration to silencing which she classily attended to.

 

 

Although she holds strong opinions on her own, Mariel says that she's open to be educated and informed if she says something wrong.
