Pageants fans waiting for the Miss Universe Philippines coronation night are in for a treat as the organization has just revealed that a former Miss Universe and the current reigning Miss Universe will be attending.

In a post on the official Miss Universe Philippines Instagram account, the organization announced that Miss Universe 2022 R'Bonney Gabriel will have a “special participation” during the coronation night, while Miss Universe 2019 Zozibini Tunzi will also take part in the coronation night as a guest host.

The organization also recently shared the shots from the pageant's Swimsuit Challenge, whose voting is ongoing until April 16. The queens are also set to take part in the Runway Challenge, with the voting period running from April 17 to April 23.

The queens will be competing for the “La Mer en Majeste” crown, which was unveiled in April last year. The crown utilizes several South Sea pearls, the country's national gem and “a radiant symbol of the harmonious relationship between man and nature, capturing the very spirit of the Filipinos.”
