Filipino fans and pageant aficionados who want to wish the country's Miss Universe representative Ahtisa Manalo will have a chance to do so in the coming month as the organization has announced when she will depart for Thailand.
In one of the more recent posts on its official Instagram account, the Miss Universe Philippines organization announced that Ahtisa will be flying to Thailand on Sunday, November 2, 6 a.m., from the NAIA Terminal 1 departure area. In the caption to the post, the organization asked supporters to bring Philippine flags, banners, posters, as well as their cheers.
Ahtisa's departure follows her send-off ceremony held last week, where she revealed Mark Tumang, who was also the designer behind former Miss Universe Catriona Gray's memorable lava gown, designed her national costume.
"It's a national costume that hasn't been seen in a while in the Miss Universe stage," she shared to GMA News Online. "I'm really, really excited 'cause it's a good representation of the Philippine culture and also my own personality. So I'm very excited for everyone to see that."
Ahtisa also shared that Val Taguba, who made her evening gown during the Miss Universe Philippines competition, will also be her designer for the pageant.
The send-off also included the announcement of a documentary on her preparations premiering on the Empire Philippines YouTube channel this Sunday, October 26.
This would be the second documentary on the Miss Universe Philippines, following A Queen's Runway, which can be viewed on Netflix.

The Miss Universe coronation night is set to happen on November 21 in Bangkok, Thailand.
Ahtisa will be heading to Bangkok with multiple recognitions under her belt. She was recently honored at the People Asia Women of Style & Substance 2025 Awards Night, alongside Solicitor General Darlene Berberabe, Makati Medical Center's liver transplant surgeon Dr. Catherine Teh, broadcast journalist Karmina Constantino, Budget and Management Secretary Amenah Pangandaman, St. Luke's Medical Center's robotic surgery pioneer Dr. Elsie Pascua, and Wilcon Depot CEO Lorraine Belo Cincochan.
Ahtisa dedicated the recognition to “anyone who dares to dream big and works tirelessly to make those dreams their reality.”
Ahtisa also got in a hosting gig before her send-off, hosting the Mister International pageant, where she saw Philippine representative Kirk Bondad win the title.
