There are only two days left until the Miss Universe Philippines coronation, and the pageant's delegates are in the thick of it as they compete in the pageant's preliminaries this afternoon.

Currently livestreaming on the Miss Universe Philippines Facebook page, the preliminaries pit the queens against each other, especially the current frontrunners that have been dominating the challenges leading up to the preliminaries.

Based solely on the past challenges, this year's Miss Universe Philippines frontrunners are Miss Agusan del Norte Jannarie Zarzoso, Miss Bulacan Princess Anne Ramos, and Miss Pampanga Angelique Manto.

Aside from being part of the top five of the Photoshoot Challenge, the trio have also been part of the top five of the Swimsuit Challenge as well as the Runway Challenge.

Miss Bohol Pauline Amelinkcx is also another pageant delegate that has been a finalist in multiple challenges, having placed in the top five of the Runway Challenge and the Swimsuit Challenge. Miss Eastern Samar Airrish Ramos has also been a finalist in two challenges, placing in the top five of the Photoshoot Challenge and in the top three of the Swimsuit Challenge.

Michelle Dee was also part of the top five of the Runway Challenge. In last year's competition, Michelle placed in the top three of the Swimsuit Challenge and the Casting Video Challenge.

Aside from the preliminaries, the queens will also attend the Miss Universe 2023 Fashion and Charity Gala at the Okada Manila Grand Ballroom. The gala, which is being held for the benefit of Save the Children and Hope 4 Change, will have Miss Universe 2022 R'Bonney Gabriel as a special guest.
