The Miss Universe Philippines organization is calling on Filipino pageant fans and followers to engage in some bayanihan and push the country's bets to the Miss and Mister Supranational pageants to the Top 12 and Top 10, respectively.
In one of the more recent posts on its Instagram account, the organization posted a graphic calling for votes for Miss Supranational Philippines Alethea Ambrosio and Mister Supranational Philippines Brandon Espiritu.
In the caption to the post, the organization wrote that winning the online vote would guarantee a Top 12 placement for Alethea and a Top 10 placement for Brandon. The caption also included instructions on how to vote.
Both candidates have been putting in the work even before they departed for Poland. Alethea was named one of the semi-finalists of the Miss Supranational pageant's Miss Influencer opportunity alongside the delegates from Venezuela, Myanmar, Indonesia, and Cote d'Ivoire.
Alethea has also been training extensively for the pageant, sharing an Instagram Reel of her practicing her pasarela at The Canvas back in March. The Canvas was established by Miss Universe Philippines 2023 first runner-up CJ Opiaza.
Should Alethea win the 2024 Miss Supranational pageant, she would be the second Filipina to bring home the crown after Mutya Datul first won it back in 2013.
Meanwhile, the country's bet for Mister Supranational, Brandon Espiritu, was declared the winner of the Mister Supranational Mister Influencer YouTube opportunity.
Brandon won the opportunity to represent the country at the Mister Supranational pageant after he won the Mister Pilipinas Worldwide pageant held last year, beating 15 other candidates.
He will seek to perform better than previous Mister Supranational Philippines Johannes Rissler, who finished in the Top 20 of the competition last year.
