The Miss Universe Philippines organization has announced changes to its local directorship program after its brother organization has had to respond to a couple of issues over the past few weeks.
In one of the more recent posts on its official Instagram account, the Miss Universe Philippines organization announced that it has opened its local directorship program for 2026 and will be “implementing enhanced vetting and stricter monitoring procedures to ensure that all representatives uphold the highest standards of ethics, professionalism, and respect.”
The statement also reiterated that delegates for the Miss Universe Philippines, The Miss Philippines, and Mister Pilipinas Worldwide should be fully supported during their respective competitions.
While not directly mentioned, the statement references allegations made by 2025 Mister Pilipinas Worldwide competitor Jacinth Ziff, who represented Butuan. He alleged in a Facebook post that he was not properly supported by Butuan local director and was also touched inappropriately by a local designer and the national director for the Butuan organization.

In response to the allegations. The Mister Pilipinas Worldwide organization released a statement in support of Jacinth Ziff, and condemned “all forms of harassment, assault and exploitation.”
The organization also expressed its gratitude to Jacinth and reiterated that it is working very hard to “elevate the pageant community and promote a safe space in the industry.” The organization also assured its followers that they will not work with the local director, designer, team and individuals again.
The Mister Pilipinas Worldwide organization had earlier reaffirmed its support for Raven Lansangan, the current reigning Mister Pilipinas Manhunt Male Supermodel 2025.
The statement was put out after the Mister Pampanga organization revoked Raven's title as Mister Pampanga 2024, citing “serious violations of the organization's Code of Ethics.” The organization stated that Raven failed to fulfill the duties and obligations required under his title, and that he joined another organization without the prior consent of the Mister Pampanga Organization.
The Mister Pampanga Organization then wrote that they hope Renz's future endeavors will “reflect the values of loyalty, dedication, and commitment to moral responsibilities.”
Raven was named the Mister Pilipinas Manhunt International back in April alongside the other winners of the Mister Pilipinas Worldwide pageant.
The other winners were Mister Dumaguete City Kenneth Cabungcal, who represented the country at the 2025 Mister Supranational pageant, Mister Baguio Kirk Bondad who will represent the country in the 2025 Mister International pageant, and Jether Palomo of Taguig City who is the new Mister Pilipinas Global.
Mister San Juan City Kitt Cortez will represent the country at the 2025 Mister Eco International pageant while Cebu City's Michael Angelo Toledo will compete at the 2025 Man of the Year pageant. Kenneth Marcelino of Laguna was named as the country's representative to the 2025 Mister Cosmopolitan pageant.
So far, Kenneth Cabungcal has been the first to compete internationally, clinching the fourth runner-up position in the 2025 Mister Supranational pageant.
Since the pageant, Kenneth has spent a little vacation detour in Switzerland. Check out his photos from the trip in the gallery below.
