Miss Philippines Pia Wurtzbach appeared on Steve Harvey’s show to set the record straight about the pageant host’s huge mistake committed last December.

“Steve, don’t beat yourself up for this anymore! C’mon, let’s move forward [and] let’s just be happy!” the Filipina beauty queen told the American TV host.

She doesn’t let the bashing get in the way; instead, she’s focused on achieving her goals all throughout her reign. Pia shared, “I read this one quote ‘A real queen knows how to make an empire with the same stones thrown at her’ so that’s what I want people to learn.”

When he heard of this, it’s as if a heavy weight was lifted from his shoulders. “Pia, let me tell you something. I amend, you know, as strong as I try to be. Man, this [has] been a dog fight. It’s so crazy! I want some healing to be done for you and Miss Colombia [Ariadna Gutierrez]. I want that more than anything.”

Steve then commended Wurtzbach for forgiving him despite his error, “Thank you for coming. I thought you were an absolute class act.”
